Because of the Risk of Thermal Burn and Fire, Schneider ElectricTM is Recalling 1.4 Million Electrical Panels.

More than 1 million of the electric panels made by Schneider Electric are being recalled.

The company, which is based in Boston, said that heat burns and other fire hazards are risks.

It is recommended that anyone who owns  Square™ D QO™ Plug-on-Neutral Load Centers contact a certified electrician for an inspection on their electrical panel as soon as possible.

The recalled circuit breaker boxes were manufactured between February 2020 and January 2022, with date codes between 200561 and 220233.

The load center may have been purchased by customers at a hardware, home improvement, or Schneider Electric authorized retailer. An electrical contractor or home builder could have also supplied the panels.
