Maybe would use again, not so sure. The technician was a... nice guy. He told me my husband had put the wrong bulbs into the fixture (my husband is deceased on 11/14/24). He told me which bulbs to purchase which was extremely helpful. I paid him $100 for this advice. When the bulbs arrived, one of the wall fixtures works just fine, but the other one is still not working correctly despite the correct bulb. I will not call back for more help.read more

I called Comet to install a transfer switch for my backup... generator to use during power outages. Steve and Rich arrived around 8am. While out, they also installed a new electrical panel, surge protector, and electric meter as my house needed updated. All work was done by about 5pm. They upgraded my old fuse box and rewired my whole house in 7 days. I was very impressed with all the work they did including all the extra stuff that I requested while they worked. They made as little holes as possible and filled a lot of them which was a bonus since the other quotes I received did not include filling the holes and was told I would need to have a contractor come in after they were done. They even put in an exhaust in my bathroom and ran the exhaust line to my attic so all my step dad had to do was cut the hole to the outside for the vent. My breaker panel shorted and caught fire just after... midnight on Sunday morning leaving the house without power. I called Transformation Electric at 1:30 PM Sunday and talked to Kristen who understood the problem and e-mailed a quote. I responded to the quote and she scheduled a technician for the next day, Monday 8 AM (Labor Day!). Steve arrived at 8 AM, replaced the entrance cable, meter box, grounds and breaker panel. Power was restored by 2 PM; the technician left the site clean at 2:30. I did not get competing quotes (I called it a bargain). The work passed electrical inspection.read more

We needed an upgrade to 240v in our garage. Also had a... light flickering issue in the house. Called Transformation Electric and got an immediate response from Kristen (a human who actually answers the phone!). Steve came out quickly and gave a very thorough review of our wiring system, made recommendations for options, and gave a complete estimate. The work was scheduled quickly. Steve and Brian did a fantastic job fixing wiring issues at our main fuse box, installing the new 240v upgrade entrance box with conduit and outlets where needed, and installing a new service line to our house also fixing a grounding issue. They noted a problem at the main transformer and contacted the electric company on our behalf to facilitate repair of their transformer. Maybe would use again, not so sure. The technician was a... nice guy. He told me my husband had put the wrong bulbs into the fixture (my husband is deceased on 11/14/24). Comet Electric was fantastic to work with. They came in to... run new circuits, fix wiring, install new lights and even put in a new subpanel for future renovations. They did all of this work quickly, efficiently and left no mess when they were done. The cost was also 100% worth it for the high quality work that they did! We contacted Comet to have some wiring, and our breaker box... checked. They responded quickly, and Steve came quickly. He checked everything out for us. He was very friendly, honest, and a good electrician. When/if we need an electrician in the future, we'll be sure and call them. I highly recommend them!Edit: We had Steve install a Generac generator for us last week (June 12, 2024). He and his helper were on time, did a great job, and the price for everything was fair, we thought. He had been here a couple of years ago, when we had no water. He figured out the problem, pulled the pump out of our well, and re-wired it. We'll continue to use Comet Electric!read more

Steve and his team are top-notch professionals. Kristen in... their office was extremely helpful, staying in communication with us regularly leading up to our scheduled appointment. Steve and his crew were on-time (a bit early, if fact!) and our repairs were done in less than 2 hours. They took time to clean up afterwards, which is a welcome change from other contractors we've used. Their attention to doing the "little things" right is what separates Transformation Electric from other "run-of-mill" electrical contractors, IMO.Though Transformation's repair costs are a bit higher that what we've typically paid to other "handyman" electricians in the past, it was more than worth it for the added "peace of mind" we get. Everyone from Transformation Electric was great to work... with from scheduling with Kristen and working with the electricians Bryon and Alex. They upgraded my old fuse box and rewired my whole house in 7 days. I was very impressed with all the work they did including all the extra stuff that I requested while they worked. They made as little holes as possible and filled a lot of them which was a bonus since the other quotes I received did not include filling the holes and was told I would need to have a contractor come in after they were done. They even put in an exhaust in my bathroom and ran the exhaust line to my attic so all my step dad had to do was cut the hole to the outside for the vent. They honestly went above and beyond and I highly recommend them.read more

I contacted this company after seeing a recommendation on... Facebook and after reviewing customer reviews. I was very impressed with their responsiveness, professionalism and the quality of their work I had them install a fan and a new outlet on my deck, install a video doorbell, and a whole house surge system. I especially liked that they text and email you with a picture of the technicians before they come to your home. As a woman living alone I appreciated that courtesy. I can't comment on the price of services as this is the first time I've hired an electrician. I highly recommend this company!read more

I highly recommend Transformation Electric! They put a new... main panel in, rewired a majority of my home which was Knob and Tube originally. They were fair-priced, professional, respectful. I felt comfortable with everything they did. They were efficient and very careful not to disturb the plaster and aesthetics of the home. I can't say enough good things about my experience with... Steve and Bryon. Right from the estimate to the last day of work everything went smoothly. This was a terrible job to take on. It's a 100 year old house with the original service. We had basically everything replaced and upgraded the panel while we were in the house. We were able to have electric service the whole time. They were very professional and every time I wanted to add or change something they always said no problem. The job was under the estimate quoted and I will recommend them to everyone!read more

My breaker panel shorted and caught fire just after... midnight on Sunday morning leaving the house without power. I called Transformation Electric at 1:30 PM Sunday and talked to Kristen who understood the problem and e-mailed a quote. I responded to the quote and she scheduled a technician for the next day, Monday 8 AM (Labor Day!). Steve arrived at 8 AM, replaced the entrance cable, meter box, grounds and breaker panel. Power was restored by 2 PM; the technician left the site clean at 2:30. I did not get competing quotes (I called it a bargain). The work passed electrical inspection.read more

Steve and his apprentice were absolutely wonderful!!! We... just moved into our brand new home. They installed a security system and hung 3 ceiling fans for us. They explained everything and showed us how everything worked. They even volunteered to help us with our cable wiring, which the cable company should have done!! They were professional, friendly and left everything spotless. I can’t say enough good things about them. We even got tips on places to eat & visit in our new neighborhood . We needed an upgrade to 240v in our garage. Also had a... light flickering issue in the house. Called Transformation Electric and got an immediate response from Kristen (a human who actually answers the phone!). Steve came out quickly and gave a very thorough review of our wiring system, made recommendations for options, and gave a complete estimate. The work was scheduled quickly. Steve and Brian did a fantastic job fixing wiring issues at our main fuse box, installing the new 240v upgrade entrance box with conduit and outlets where needed, and installing a new service line to our house also fixing a grounding issue. They noted a problem at the main transformer and contacted the electric company on our behalf to facilitate repair of their transformer. Transformation Electric was on-time, courteous, professional and did a very neat and complete job. We highly recommend them and will be using them for all our future electrical needs.read more

I have called Transformation Electric three times so far.... Everything about my experience has been great. The service, from scheduling with Kristin to the actual work done by Bryan, was fantastic. I have scheduled normal repair work and emergency work and both exceeded my expectations. Byron was really thorough and made great recommendations for my consideration. He is friendly and is always willing to answer my questions or provide additional ideas. His work is need and the job site is exactly as he found it when the job is finished. Amazing customer service. I was able to call on a Sunday... morning for a small emergency issue I was having. A guy was at my house within the hour to replace a couple of things, including fixing my porch light (which wasn't even part of the emergency!) He was very nice and respectful to me and my home.
